manufaktura - "little factory"
since 1991 Paulina Plizga mix art & fashion first in poland under the catwalk-exhibition form featuring extensibles cocon dresses made of crazy patchworks mixing very differents materials:
- pieces of fabrics, old laces, plastic, feathers, paper, leather, threads, rope and fur

Using her sewing machine to embroider and appliqué she creates unique materials and uses them to construct fairy clothes :
- dresses sculpted with small pieces of fabrics
- expressionist painted skirts
- collage t-shirts
- accessoires weaved and embroided like a bird's nests central europe folklore

Inspiration mixed with "end of XIX century" parisian elegance in a rock & roll and pop-art way.
Paulina lives and works at Montmartre in Paris. The "manufaktura" client is an artist, and a precious and clever woman who loves unique clothes and dares well measured extravagance.

Heritage

A patched view of memory, experimental fashion performance with paint, assemblage, video, sound and commercial art media . . . a moving performance produced instantly with a collection of art clothing completed by video/sound screens displaying archived emotional states and static lightwork.
