"I had speech therapy and music therapy before I was 5 because I had not started talking. Having used a piano and percussion in music therapy I started piano lessons and I still play piano and drums.

I completed a BMus (composition, piano and a thesis on Philip Glass) at Roehampton University and then composition for Film/TV at Kingston Universty.

I love to improvise, compose and perform; much of my composition for piano is based on improvisation . . . I am currently writing about Philip Glass' film music. I love playing his piano music, listening to his music (I have 44 CDs) and I have heard him play 4 times . . . "

"Vor meinem fünften Lebensjahr musste ich zur Sprach- und Musiktherapie, weil ich Schwierigkeiten bei Unterhaltungen hatte. Damals schon faszinierte mich das Klavier und Percussion. Ich begann mit dem Klavierunterricht. Seitdem spiele ich Klavier und lerne Percussion.

An der Roehampton Universität London schloss ich mit dem BMus ab (Klavier, Kompositionslehre und These über Philip Glass). Später Erweiterungstudium für Film/TV an der Kingston Universität.

Ich liebe es zu improvisieren; der Aufbau in der Klavierkomposition basiert auf Improvisation. . . Mein Interesse heute beruht sich im freien Studium und meine eigene praktische Arbeit am Klavier gilt hauptsächlich Philip Glass."
