Jezebelle Project:
Stage 1 – one night stand (a 3 ½ minute time-lapse super 8 film of myself sleeping) shown on a television monitor in Ye Olde Axe, a striptease pub on Hackney Road, London.

Stage 2 – www.jezebelle.org. A virtual peepshow between artist’s website and pornographic site, without text or personal details.

Stage 3 – Jezebelle and the Underworld performance. My partner followed and photographed me as I walked from my home to Ye Olde Axe (while my film was playing) and back again. I gave him a list of rules to adhere to. I wore a wig and provocative clothing. I became Orpheus. The emotional impact that it made on both of us was central to the project.
